Join us Saturday, November 1st at The Thirsty Pig for the 2nd Annual PCRT Beer Week Scavenger Hunt. Teams will participate in a beer-centric scavenger hunt across the Portland penninsula. Challenges will have you visiting Portland’s bars, breweries, and landmarks. There will be prizes for the top teams, beer drinking bonus challenges, and special deals along the way. This year’s hunt will be conducted via a free mobile app, so at least one member of your team is required to have a smart phone or tablet. Awards and After Party:
The event will start and finish at The Thirsty Pig where you will enjoy an after party and awards ceremony complete with prizes and drink specials.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes! You must be 21 to enter and bring a valid ID to packet pick up as well as the event.
How many people can I have on my team?
As many as you would like, as long as you stick together and everyone completes each challenge.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Running shoes, cell phone, camera, ID, cash, and a credit card are encouraged. No dogs, kids, strollers, or alcohol.
Will I be required to drink during the event?
No. No one is required to drink at any point, but the option will certainly be there.
How many miles will we be traveling
Aproximately 4-6 miles.
Do I have to run?
No, but the only mode of transportation allowed is your own two feet. No bikes, no cars, no public transportation.
Will I need to spend any of my own money?
At no point are you required to spend any additional money but some of the bonus challenges will include purchasing specific drinks.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It would be helpful if you did, but it is not required.
What is the refund policy?
The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The name on the registration/ticket MUST match the attendee.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes! Each participant must submit a signed waiver in order to pick up their packet. Waivers will be available at packet pick up and will be posted online at http://www.portcityrunningtours.com at least one week prior to the event.

Do I need to bring my phone?
This year’s event will be conducted through a mobile app, so at least one member of your team is required to have a smart phone or tablet capable of running the app. The phone or tablet you chose needs to have photo and video capabilities as well. It would also be a good idea to bring a charger along with you to make sure your battery doesn’t die.
Do I need to pay to downlaod the app?
No. The app is free.
